New kitchen/living room floor
New bedroom rug
This little guy we won at the Saint Patrick's Day dinner at Three Flags RV Park.   Can you guess his name?   Why it's Cecil the turtle of course.
And we can't forget Christine,  she got a new license plate too.
We had a good two weeks, met up with friends, but it's time to move on to Thousand Trails Orlando in Clermont, moving slowly further south.

Three Flags RV Resort, Wildwood FL

Were back in Wildwood Florida.  It was time to move on from our winter home and start our next adventure.
We met up with our friends from up north.
Our buddy Askhim.
Tom had his annual endoscopy done while we were here.  Its not all fun and games, sometimes we have to deal with serious matters too.
I guess northerns can's part with things.  Sure not going to need it down here.
Golf Carts have their own parking spaces at Walmart.
How would you like to ride in this one?
Date night...
Great evening
Would you like a pair?

Wednesday, March 1, 2017

Well this post is a long time coming.   We arrived at our winter home "Sumter Oaks RV Park December 1st.   It's now the end of February and we will be heading out soon.

We became Florida residents on December 6th,  2016.

We watched hundreds of motorcycle ride by the RV park  on their way to the National Cemetery for the Wreathes Across America  ceremony. We were told 1500 motorcycles attended.  The volunteers placed 7000 wreaths on the graves.
We spent our Christmas here attending the Christmas Eve Karaoke party.  This was the tree at the Activity Center.
And this was our tree.

Breakfast Christmas morning, We had homemade waffles on the patio, what a switch.... ( excuse the tablecloth)
Then we were off to our Cousins in South Florida  for a fantastic few days.
Met up with our Sister-in-law and Nephew there too...
 Along with our other cousins

Relaxing on the couch outside, on the lawn....
Captain Tom took us boating, what a good time
 Tom enjoying the day
 Andrew was enjoying himself too.
and the Fun Girls..
The water was beautiful for boating.....
But alas it was time to head back home for...

The New Years Eve Hawaiian Luau at Sumter Oaks RV Park

Friday night music jams were the best, never saw anything like it.

Went out to Pine Island  for the day

Of course we went dancing at the Brownwood and listened to music at the Villages.

We also went line dancing at Paradise Oaks RV Park every Monday which was really fun.  We can actually do a few dances...

We had a lot of fun catching up with old friends and making new ones.

The park has a lot of wildlife, cows on one side, donkeys on the other.  Owls screeching at night.  We don't have a picture, but at dusk the owls would fly into the trees by the swamp.
There was always wildlife to see between the trees.

Reminiscing about Pam's first RV experience in our Aliner.

Went to the Tampa RV Show in January.  Tom had bus envy, this bus is over 2- 1/2 million dollars.  You could only go inside by appointment.

This little fella was running around the Tampa RV show, checking out the rigs !!!
Tom dressed for crawling around the front cap of the RV doing some repair work. Quite a few warranty issues, he decided to tackle some of them himself.

Went to a quilt show at The Villages.  They have everything there ...

The Walmart's in Florida sell guns and ammo.  What a difference from New Jersey.
And sell Flowers in January......
This was in the parking lot by The Villages..... you see everything here...

We also met friends from PA  at Tarpon Springs for lunch and sponge shopping.
Boat by the docks
Cigar shop at Tarpon Springs

Cecil flying his new flag.
Karaoke wine and cheese parties with the Fun Girls
 and Fun Guys.

Nancy the activity director getting ready for the Mardi Gras parade.

 And off we went
Of course there was a get together in the activity center afterwards.

Cecil and Christine getting Smart Weighted before leaving Sumter Oaks.  We all did fine, they were not overweight at all.
