Our Last Getaway in 2014

A little late in posting, but one of our last trips this fall was to Timothy Lake South PA.  On the October 18th weekend campers were thinking Halloween, and quite a few had decorated their RV's and little piece of land.   Some were quite extensive as you can see.

All in all it was another great time seeing our friends, taking our walks and just plain old relaxing.   Going to miss our weekend getaways.  Can't wait till spring.......

Winding down the Summer at Timothy Lake South in PA

Had a great weekend, winding down the summer here up north at Timothy Lake South PA, with a sour face.  We visited with our friends at the campground, on Saturday had a great lasagna dinner, sat by the fire and spent the evening in our chairs stargazing.  The stars are so much different when you get away from the city.  We left Sunday morning to meet up with our son and grandson to go apple picking by our home.

We just came back from a great RV trip to Hersey PA.  We went to the largest RV show in the U.S. at least that is what they advertise.  We were at the show 3-days, running in and out of Travel Trailers, Class A Buses, Fifth Wheels..... and eating the best crab cake sandwiches..... We met some fellow Escapees and in all couldn't ask for a better time.   Of course the trip is not complete without seeing Flo, ...

Our Journey

Its all about the journey.  We both love planning, traveling and arriving at the destination.  The fun doesn't begin when we arrive it starts in the planning stage.  I hope all our family and friends enjoy reading about our travels.  This photo was taken Memorial Day weekend 2014 at Timothy Lake South RV park in PA.  It was the last stop from a great vacation.   More to follow
